Perfect Gifts For Your Teenaged Daughter

Christmas is a time of celebration, happiness, peace and love. Families get together to share this day and the season yearly. As kids grow older it gets more difficult to find presents for them. I remember how not too long ago finding the perfect cristmas present was easier.
I often wonder if I've gotten that old or toymakers are just all out of ideas. I don't consider myself materialistic but I miss the days of my younger childhood...when parents would go all out to get special gifts for their little cutie....unfortunately by 11 and if your lucky 12 this tops bing that kids grow up.
Here are some suggession for items to by for your little trouble maker or as we call them TEENAGERS:

1.CLOTHES!

Sure it's cliche' but when you have no options especially if you're stuck with the kid who wants nothing  (So they say) this is the perfect gift. I'd recommend spending 150-300 dollars.
Be sure to shop for things your daughter would want (Not what you want them to wear!)
I recommend buying some clothes at Hollister, Abercombie and Fitch, Forever 21, Wetseal  possibly HNM. These are the stores teenagers go these days....Warning do not buy shoes in forever 21....they look cute but aren't worth it.
Be sure not to spend to much money in one store and remember modern day teen girls usually don't wnat anything to flashy neither do they want anything too sporty....so buy some casually clothes and some cute clothes.



2. IPHONE!

I know in this economy you don't want to spend too much money but look at it in their eyes...an Iphone is an investment. It's very resourceful! Think at the look in your little girl's face when she see's that square box, she'll be one of the only kids to own it in school...She'd be eternally greatful....until next christmas.
The current Iphone that was recently released ranges from $649-$849...But don't worry I have a solution....with a plan the new Iphone (Iphone5) is $199... You honestly won't get the new modle any where cheaper so don't bother looking. I advise you not to buy anyother IPHONES.....Yes! the Iphone 4 is for $99 but kids like what's in (Which is sad but truth) and the Iphone 4 is definately not in.

3. CAMERA!

It's strange but cameras are really popular...the reason I find it strange is because 75% of thes people already have photos that take pictures. When I say cameras I don't mean regular digital cameras (Shut it Sony and Kodak).....If you don't have a lot regular cameras are acceptable but I'm sure you're daughter would appreciate you more if you bought a professional camera.  They got popular since around 2011, I think the reason is how vintage and classic they are...Just incase you don't know what I am talking about I have an example:

They look somewhat lame....but trust me she'll love it! Their expaensive but what do you expect for professional cameras. They last practically forever.

 

 

4. A GUITAR!

 

Okay what person wouldn't want a guitar... they range from $50 to thousands....I'd recommend you buy one for over a $150....remember just because it's cheap doesn't mean its good. Buy it online; For the girl's first guitar don't go all flashy and out because remember there's no guarantee she'll stick with it. Get it in brown (light brown) and don't even worry about lessons...she can learn online from youtube videos. 5. PANDORA BRACLET

 

Everybody has been talking about Pandora brcelets. They're simple, yet elegant and refined.

What better to give your daughter. It seems plain and maybe not thoughtfull of extravigant bu trust me this bracelet is all the rage. The nice thing about the pandora bracelet is you actually design it. This shows you're daughter how much you know her. You pick a chain then some charms...the average cost is usually $200 dollars. The bracelets are simply adorable, I love how retro they are.

Halloween Costume Ideas for Teenaged Girls

Being young it's hard to shop for costumes...... for one thing the cool costumes you once loved you either have no interest in or you're simple too old to fit in something made for a 7 year old.
Reading this I am 99% sure you are not sure on what to where for halloween, It's days away so this is the time to make up your mind. As a teenager (Or young adult) certain outfits are inappropriate like it are not there are some things that are simply wrong, Your frickin 15 put down that cop outfit.
So here I am being an angel and making some suggessions....These outfits aren't slutty or anything but then again a pastor's daughter wouldn't be wearing these. So here are 10 ideas for Halloween costumes.

1. Marilyn Monrroe

 

Where to buy:This costume can be found at any halloween store in this case I reccomend Party City, The wig is for $16 at party city and the white dress is for $19.... another option is the pink dress from dimonds.

2. Goddess
( I recommendAphrodite, Athena, Artemis)

Where to buy: Party City. This exact costume at party city is for $44 but other greek costumes are somewhat cheaper. Accessories sold seperately.

3.  Super Hero
(I recommend Wonder woman, super girl, Jean grey or Storm)

 

Where to buy:  Any halloween store. At party system trhe wonder woman costume is for $49 and the wig is for $24, other super hero costumes go for the same eg.Super girl which is for $49.

4. Super Villan
(I recommend Cat woman or poison Ivy)

5.  Celebraties
(I recommend Nicki Minaj, Lady GaGa or Katy Perry)

Where to buy: Of course party city has several the best looking one is for $29, the shoes is for $39 and the hair is for $14 of course you may buy your own shoes and use your own hair.

( I recomend something anime related)

Where to buy: And halloween store. In this cas pikachu costumes are usually lame so I recommend you either make your own and buy the ears or wear something yellow also with the ears.

Where to buy: Party City, but to be honest they have none I like. You can purchase some egyptian like jewlry at forever 21 and a bob wig at party city.

Mean girls

Seems sorta Cliche' and corny but I've always like this movie.Yes it's girly and feminine but it actually goes into the mind of an outcast trying to fit in......many girls can relate to this.

Red RidingHood     

I absolutely loved this movie....so much so that I watched it twice. It was dramatic, courageous and surely a wonderful modern take on the classic fairy tale.This move mainly stared amanda seinfeld, her acting was on point and I can't imagine anyone else in this role.

8.Twilight saga: Eclipse

I've never been a fan of the twilight series.....Because I never really fell for romantic/drama films....yet still I watched the twilight movies.They were all ok but I prefered Eclipse.It was simply amazing....bella finally confessed that she had some feeling for Jacob....much to his liking.Edward proposed.Since I didn't read the book it was seriously unexpected being that they're 18 but it was cute.I was happy for them. I'm not a fangirl but Jacob was way better looking that Edward so I dont know what Bella sees in him....at first I thought it was a phase but us girls are just that confusing.

7.Abduction

This movie didn't gross high on the box office surprisingly. But I loved it the plot was amazing the acting on point both lead roles (Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins had Chemistry). I seriously don't understand why more people didn't watch this movie.....their loss.

6. resident evil

I cant pin point which one I like the best. I love them all. I grew up watching these movies....they nearly scared me to death but trust me I love the rush Every movie is wonderfully unrealistic....not that I care. I loved the 1 rst and second one. The lead actress in thsi movie is trullly talented.....she never ages. Every time I watch a residen tevil movie i'm excited for the next.

5. The Avengers

I've always love comic books so I absolutely had to watch this the day it premiered. My friends and I were so excited to see this especially seeing Thor and captain american.....we were definately fawning. Besides the gorgeous actors.....the graphics were amazing......especially making the base in the sky and the creation of hulk in fighting form......loved it. I have to admit it took a while to get to the point and a few scenes were boring......but this movie was definately worth the wait.

4.Project X

honestly I never expected the movie to be so good. It was amateur but I still enjoyed it. It basically stars a kid having an epic party promoted by his friends that goes out of control.....practically destroying his house and the neighborhood. It had a lot of curse words but I didn't mind. If your naive and dont mind bad dialogue you'll love this as much as I did. I have to admit the movie was cliche......but in a good way. This movie was different from most movies I've watched as in the camera was shit.....but this was because the star''s so called friend was behind the camera recording the epic event.....I applaud the director for this....very modern and fresh. i hope there's a sequal to this......Because I'm definately watching it. There are sceens with nudity in this so this is not fit for some ages.

3.Hunger games

I absolutely love the movie. Afetr I watched the movie......crazy me bought the book.....I couldn't get pass chapter four. The writing is terrible and childlike......yetstill the plot was amazing. Even though I hate the book the movie was amazing. Jenifer Lawerence's acting was superb and I also love Amandla sandberg's portrayl of Rue.....since I didn't get far in the book (caz it's sucks) I didn't expect Rue to die....ok atleast not that soon....So I cried my eyes out........Love this movie and I cant wait until the 2nd one comes out.

2.Percy jackson and the Lightening thief.

I've always loved hearing about greek gods so this movie was a perfect modern day twist.

Percy son of Poseidon (not that he know's it yet)is accused of stealing the lighting bolt.....because of this he is being hunted and wanted dead by the gods....I wont continue this description but you must know this movie is amazing. Talented cast and graphics....i especially loved Hades in the bond fire scene..... I was very thrilled to see some of my favorite greek gods/goddesses in live action form! I am overjoyed that a sequal is premiering next summer (2013) fingers crossed....it will be amazing!.

Dom Dom Dom!!!!

My all time favorite mover ever is...........

1. Xmen first Class:

It is the latest Xmen movie.If you know me you know how I love super heroes.......The guy who played the younger version of the professor was an absolute cutie.....I also loved Jenifer Lawerence's potrayal of mistique. Before this movie I didn't know much of the back story of the Xmen but this movie explained it all.....It sorta contradicted a few of it's other movies....but If you just shut up and watch you'll love it.

So those are my top ten favorite movies of all time. I must add that there is one movie that didn't make it on the list but I have to shout out Colombiana....starring Zoe Saldana. I loved  this movie.

Conquering Bordeom

So it's summer vacation (yippe!!!) and all your friends are having fun at the beach or some other bored place. You constantly think about what you could be doing but can't because of laziness, lack of finances or you simply don't know what to do; your not alone.
Every year before summer I'm always excited, I always dream of doing something big/fun but never do it, but this summer is different.
If your someone reading this you probably want advice/ suggessions on what to do, so I'll help!
                                            
 What to Do for Summer Vacation 
1)Go to the community pool,
Ok so this suggession seems corny or lame but if your like me you probably want to avoid asking your parents for money.To make this fun grab a few friends; though unlikely if all your friends are gone bring a cousin in your age group.

2)Bake, I suggest a cake. it's simple and is done in 2 hours tops. As a child I found this fun to do whether I was alone or with company.

3)Play a video game, Okay Okay this seems so unusual for me right? guess again. Grab a Wii, Play Station, XBox and get started. If your not good keep practcing by the end of summer you'll be a champ and might just be able to kick 80% of your guy friends' butt.If your a girly girl or simply suck at video games I reccomend the kinect for xbox, you jump and basically go crazy, it's fun with or without friends.
4)Go on Wattpad.com, wattpad is a website where you basically read books written by people who are usually teenage.I was first skeptical of this until I actually read a book that was amazing! I reccomend a story called addicted to meth, dont let the title fool you it's not about drugs. Your guaranteed to love this story if you give it a chance.

5)Go to the mall, for this activity you need atleast one friend to have fun. You don't have to have money, just window shop even try on clothes for when you decide to go shopping (as in spend money). Go crazy try silly dresses, rocking shoes anything random even take a few picks in the changing room  (dont let the attendant see).

6)See a movie, this suggession is affordable and fun...you can go with or without a friend. be warned if you go alone you might feel awkward....I'd know since I watched the hunger games alone.

7)Invite your remaining friends to sleep over, everything is more fun with company.

8)Chat with your friends on facebook, you guys may know that i don't haave a facebook anymore but zi use to enjoy this.

9)Play Facebbok games, I use to love facebook games like mallworld and City Ville I also loved fashion designer.

10)Do something you've never done before, perfect way to end/start an awesome day. I try to do this recently and I'm currently still working on it. I suggesting learning how tio back flip, do a cart wheel or split etc. Try learning them by watching youtube videos.

Why do you want to know how many Facebook friends I have?

I use to have hundreds of friends on face book. Quite honestly I barely knew 20 of them.
In my mind I had to have alot of facebook friends, I guess it made me seem popular or some what accomplished.
I'm sure you guys go through the same thing or have that one friend who constantly brags about the amount of friends they have on facebook. This is quite annoying (I'm not the bragging type).
My first encounter with a bragging facebooker was last year, this person just went on and on about their 4000 friends, suprisingly my narrow minded classmates were impressed.
I'm not the violent type but I really wanted to hurt that kid.
I got tired of people asking how much friends you have? is that even important.
If your my friend why would you care about about the number of friends I have? wouldn't you just want to communicate with me or see what's going on in my life.
Chances are these people with 4000 friends don't really know 4000 people. Of course when you point this out they will go out of their way to say that they do. Don't let it bother you, some human beings just have a need for attention,  try to ignore them. remember this while their sitting at their computers just waiting endlesly for their next friend request or for their request to be accepted you'll be living your life
like a normal person.

You've heard about them,you constantly see them in movies . I use to be the type of person to wonder if people were actually like this?
Of course movies exaggerate how mean girls really are but some people really are like this.
You constantly wonder if they live to make your life miserable.
Mean girls have been around since the begining. You may not be sure as to why they hate you but I gurantee you it's not your fault.
Chances are they are jealous of your looks, your brains or your life. Of course they bring you down  time and time again  to make you feel worthless and alot of times you fall for their insults. But just remember that it takes alot of time to hate on someone.
So even though they make you feel like an insect, the fact of the matter is they constantly think about you.
whether it is a plot to destroy/sabotage you, crush your dreams, steal your crush that takes time and effort so say congratualtions to the mean girls for being your unwanted personal stalker.

Dont worry mean girls are temporary. They all fade away eventually, the sad part is another one always rises.
Of course in today's society mean girls aren't always bleachedblond, dumb and slutty actual some are just like you. Take for example my mean girl.
She seems like a nice person, she gets perfect grades, all her teachers love her the list goes on.....but these people who love her haven't seen her bad side.
Of course there are days I wonder why I dislike her but then that annoying laugh of hers reminds me.
I really dont get how she has friends when she clamed that she hated half the kids in our english class, people just pretend like she never said it.
The thing I don't get is why? why would people want to be friends with someone like her?
To make matters worse she has a twin, so there's two of them.
They constantly gossip and laugh at people when they get a question incorrect, calling people dumb and stupid when the truth is they don't know what the heck there talking about. The reason the act like this is because they are simply insecure so bringing down others confidence just makes them feel better about themselves.

After her last comment in class about me today, I made a promise to myself that I wont ignore her any more. Yes some would stay not to stoop to their level but honestly sometimes you have to be strong, if you allow one person to walk over you every one else will think your weak.
So today I give this advice to you ,stand up for your self, show them that your not just some daphadel, you are a strong beautiful girl who is capable of so many things
